The Nursery School and Early Learning Centre is open 48 weeks of the year.
Hyde Park Nursery School is licensed for up to 60 students per session.
Our ratios are:
1: 5 for 2 year olds
1: 10 for 3 – 5 year olds
At Hyde Park the children are separated into 3 groups. The Gumnuts (2 years beginners), the Wattles (3 years program) and the Jacarandas (school readiness program). These groups depend on availability in the areas.
We have 2 sections to the building, one side for the Pre-kindy (Gumnuts and Wattles) and the other side for the Kindergarten (Jacarandas). Our program meets the particular needs and educational outcomes of the differing ages.
